Denbighshire County Council’s revenues and benefits team is in the running for a prestigious industry award.
The team has been shortlisted in the Credit Collections and Risk Magazine’s Credit Excellence Award in Collection category. The others shortlisted in the same category are David Lloyd Leisure; Mike King Everything Everywhere and ICICI Bank.
There are nine different awards categories and Denbighshire is the only council in the UK to be shortlisted in any category.
Councillor Julian Thompson-Hill, Cabinet Lead Member for Finance, said: “We are delighted that the teams have been shortlisted for this prestigious industry award. The teams have won a number of awards and nominations over recent years for excellence and providing customer-focussed services.
“This latest nomination is testament to the amount of good work going on and the fact that this commitment is being recognised outside of the Council reflects positively on staff who work tirelessly to provide the best possible service for Denbighshire residents”.
The winner will be announced at the CCR awards dinner on 4 October.
