Announcing the funding, the Deputy Minister said:
“I am delighted to announce funding for these six projects. The variety of the projects, both in terms of location and nature, shows the wide range of facilities and opportunities that the Western Valleys has to offer and how we intend to help make the most of the area.
“These projects are amongst the many we have supported, from large scale town centre improvement schemes right down to small community projects, since we launched the Western Valleys Regeneration Area in 2008 and it is very pleasing to see how Welsh Assembly Government funding is making a positive difference to these communities.”
