Work is ongoing to complete rubbish collections this week after a small number of streets experienced some disruption.
It has meant that some homes have not had their black bag waste collected on their normal day.
Swansea Council is reassuring residents that uncollected waste will be picked up the morning following the normal collection day.
Residents who are on a pink week and are having black bag waste collection either on Thursday (26 May) or Friday (27 May) should put their waste out as normal.
Carl Humphrey, Head of Streetscene in Swansea Council, said: “We are doing everything we can to ensure any disruption is kept to a minimum.
“If residents waste is not collected on their normal day, we are advising them to keep it out for collection and it will be collected the following morning.
“We apologise for any inconvenience this may be causing to residents.”
Residents are also being reminded to put their waste out next week a day later than normal. This is because of the bank holiday Monday when there will be no collections.
