Expressions of interest are being invited from individuals or groups interested in delivering projects as part of Denbighshire County Council’s Rural Development Plan.
Projects must fit with the Rural Development Plan for Wales and address the strategic themes of Denbighshire’s Local Development Strategy which are:
- Developing new markets for agriculture and protecting the countryside.
- Providing the capital, advice and skilled labour required for business formation and growth including the application of ICT.
- Developing and promoting new markets for tourism and sustaining the area’s culture.
- Strengthening and safeguarding the vitality of rural communities and improving the quality of life of people associated with them.
Projects ideas will be assessed by the Denbighshire Rural Development Plan Partnership and successful proposals will be included in a business plan that will be submitted to the Welsh Assembly Government, for funding from the Rural Development Plan for Wales, that will run from March 2011 to December 2013.
