Once again, Bridgend County Borough Council is seeking nominations for outstanding citizens in the county borough, to be recognised in the third annual Mayor’s Citizenship Awards.
The awards are open to all citizens who live and work in the borough who have made a positive impact within the community. Groups and businesses that deserve recognition can also be nominated.
Councillor Colin Teesdale, Mayor of Bridgend County Borough Council, said: “The awards are open to all residents, groups and business in the county borough. I would particularly like to hear about any exceptional members of the community who have made a big difference in their community, either through voluntary or charitable work, or by carrying out an act of bravery or achieving excellence in sport, for instance.
“The standard of nominations is always high and I look forward to hearing about the outstanding and community-focused residents of the county borough.”
