Denbighshire Countryside Service is calling on visitors to Loggerheads Country Park to make sure that they keep their personal belongings with them when they go walking in or around Loggerheads Country Park.
In recent months there have been a number of incidents where unattended cars have been broken into and items such as a handbags, camera and laptop stolen.
Vanessa Warrington of Denbighshire Countryside Service, said: “Many visitors travel to Loggerheads as it is a beautiful place to walk, shop and enjoy Caffi Florence. We don’t want to discourage visitors but we want people’s visit to our country park to be a positive one.
“All we are asking is that people reduce the risk of having their cars broken into by not leaving valuable items in their cars. Also be vigilant, if you see anyone suspicious please let us know in the Clwydian Range Centre or the Office. We are working with the police, have increased surveillance, put up posters and are talking to visitors about reducing the risk.”
