Hawarden Road and Chester Road in Penyffordd have been identified by Flintshire County Council as being appropriate for the provision of physical traffic calming.
A public exhibition has been arranged at the British Legion on Monday 25 June, between 4.30 pm and 7.30 pm, at which the draft proposals will be on display.
Officers from the County Council will be in attendance to explain the scheme, and answer any queries, and the results of the consultation will be used to inform the scheme prior to proceeding.
The Cabinet Member for Environment, Councillor Bernie Attridge said,
”The proposed Traffic Calming Measures for Penyffordd are welcomed, and will improve the safety of all road users in the village. The scheme has been assessed in accordance with Flintshire County Council’s Traffic Calming Policy, and funded by the Welsh Government for casualty reduction initiatives.
“I urge people to attend the consultation event so that they can see for themselves what we are proposing and their view can be taken into account in the development of the scheme.”
