Dragons coach Paul Turner has announced a 25-man squad in preparation for Sunday’s Magners League match with Edinburgh (KO 17:05).
Looking forward to the Dragons’ penultimate home match of the season captain, Tom Willis said: “The boys are definitely heading in the right direction, but we must get Sunday’s game right. Edinburgh have strength right across the park so we are going to need steel and the fantastic home support to see us through.”
Head Coach, Paul Turner echoed his captain’s sentiments. “Edinburgh are a dangerous side, they have a good forward pack and formidable scrum. They can also play good football, spearheaded by Mike Blair.
“We are going to have to play and realise that it’s another important game. We need the crowd to get behind us, as they have been doing so well this season. They are our 16th man.”
Turner also paid tribute to Tom Willis and Gavin Thomas after both have signed with the Dragons for another two years.
“They are both form players and it’s great that they have committed themselves to the Region for another two years. Tom is an integral part of our plans over the next few years, while Gavin is a fantastic back row forward showing some tremendous form.’
