A search warrant executed on a Tonteg property early on Friday morning (November 19) has led to the seizure of heroin, cash and a tazer weapon.
A 28-year-old woman and 36-year-old-man were arrested by officers and are being questioned in relation to drugs and firearms offences.
The Neighbourhood Policing team from Talbot Green executed the warrant after it received information from the community about suspicious activity relating to the property in Conway Crescent.
Inspector Nigel Griffiths said: “By no means was this the biggest haul of drugs, but it demonstrates to the local community that we will act on the intelligence we get from them to make life difficult for dealers to carry out their illegal activities.
“We want anyone who has information about drug dealing in their area to contact us via 101, or to contact the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
