For a community group in Llanfwrog, Christmas has come early with an award from the Big Lottery Fund.
Llanfwrog Community Association in Denbighshire has been awarded £4,870 from the Big Lottery fund’s small grants programme, ‘Awards For All’. Clwyd West Assembly Member Darren Millar has offered his congratulations to the group.
When asked to comment Darren said:
‘This is fantastic news for Llanfwrog Community Association and is well deserved.
‘I am sure the aware of this money from the Big Lottery Fund will make a significant difference to work of the group and my warm congratulations to all those who have worked hard to ensure a successful bid.’
Elwyn Edwards, Chairman of Llanfwrog Community Association said:
‘We are a voluntary organisation which receives little help from local authorities. It is therefore always welcome to receive awards such as this.’
