Denbighshire is extending the initial consultation period for the review of primary school provision in the Edeyrnion Area until the 10th March 2011.
Following discussions with the Edeyrnion Schools Alliance and other stakeholders a decision has been taken to extend the consultation period so that the local communities have additional time to respond to this important consultation.
Cabinet Lead Member for Education, Councillor Eryl Williams, said: “We are extending the consultation period so that people don’t feel pressured for their responses but I stress, my door is always open for anyone with exciting, new or initiatives which would help me support and safeguard our village communities.”
