Essential overnight resurfacing work is taking place at the Llanedeyrn Interchange between Tuesday April 6 and Tuesday April 13.
This work will require a period of night-time lane closures and diversions, beginning with the eastern side of the interchange. This, including the southbound A48 Eastern Avenue on and off slip roads, along with the A4232 Southern Way (in both directions) will be closed from 7:30pm on Tuesday April 6 until 6am on Wednesday April 7.
The same closure will then take place between 7:30pm on Wednesday April 7 until 6am on Thursday April 8.
Following this, the western half of the Llanedeyrn interchange, including the northbound Eastern Avenue on and off slip roads and the short link to the Llanedeyrn Road/Circle Way roundabout will be closed from 7:30pm on Thursday April 8 until 6am on Friday April 9, then again from 7:30pm on Friday April 9 until 6am on Saturday April 10.
The area will also be closed from 7:30pm on Monday April 12 until 6am on Tuesday April 13.
During this closure the southbound on and off slip roads at Llanedeyrn Interchange, together with the A4232 Southern Way, will remain open.
A full diversion will be in place and temporary signs will direct drivers around the closures. Cardiff Council’s electronic signage will also provide diversion information and advance warning of all the overnight closures.
