Summer has officially arrived in Caerphilly County Borough and what better way to kick off the busy events calendar than with the Blackwood Beach Party.
Blackwood town centre will become the county borough’s beach on Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th June and there’s plenty on offer to entertain the whole family. Visitors can immerse themselves in the variety of activities taking place across the whole weekend, including a traditional children’s funfair, face painting and pottery workshops. There will also be food and craft stalls lining the streets for visitors to peruse.
A host of entertainers will be getting everyone involved in the party, including Punch and Judy and street performers – and there’s even a chance for children to meet their favourite costumed TV characters, including Peppa Pig, Spongebob Squarepants and many more.
Blackwood will be transformed into an urban beach for the weekend and there will be plenty of seaside-themed activities on offer, including a promenade style photo booth and a surf simulator.
