Delve into the archives at Flintshire Record Office and take your own journey into the past by tracing your family history.
The Record Office in Rectory Lane, Hawarden is holding a family history workshop on Saturday 1 February. It’s the first in a series of practical history workshops to be held throughout 2014. The workshop runs between 11am and 1pm and record office staff will be advising on where to start when searching for family members from the past.
Documents held at Flintshire Record Office can provide details such as where your ancestors may have lived, attended school and worked. Staff will give examples of the type of records that can be used and the information this will provide. The workshop is £20 per person and booking is essential as spaces are limited.
