Denbighshire Record Office, in the Old Gaol, Ruthin, is offering a series of drop-in sessions for genealogists, on Friday, 25 February, Wednesday 2 March and Thursday 19 March.
Guidance will be available for both novice and experienced family historians from 10am – 12pm and 2pm – 4pm on all three days. For those who cannot get to the archives during normal opening hours, staff will be on hand on Thursday, 19 March, for an extra two hours in the evening, 6pm – 8 pm.
Topics covered will include on-line research, microfilm records and original sources for researching your family tree.
So if you have always wanted to know how to make a start but have been afraid to ask, now is your chance to get some advice from the experts.
