Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a fatal collision on the A541 near Mold on Saturday, April 9.
At 9.55pm police received a report of a one vehicle collision on the A541Hendre, Mold, where a red coloured Nissan Micra is believed to have been in collision with a tree.
Police along with the Ambulance Service and the North Wales Fire and Rescue Service attended the scene.
Three people were travelling in the car at the time. The driver of the car sustained minor injury and she was taken to Wrexham Maelor Hospital. The front seat passenger, a young woman, who is not believed to be from North Wales, was pronounced dead at the scene. The rear seat passenger sustained minor injuries and he has been taken to Wrexham Maelor Hospital.
Flintshire Highways have been informed of the incident and a section of the road is currently closed and diversions are in place.
