South Wales Police are appealing for witnesses following a Fatal Road Traffic Collision that occurred at approximately 22:50 hours, on Sunday 28th March 2010, at Station Terrace East Aberthaw.
A male was driving a Gold Renault Laguna motor vehicle, which contained a female front seat passenger, when it left the carriageway colliding with a garden wall. Both occupants sustained fatal injuries at the scene.
South Wales Police are appealing for any witnesses to contact them. The road was quiet at the time of the collision. The Police would like to speak to any person who witnessed the collision, or who stopped to provide assistance, or anyone who may have seen the vehicle being driven prior to the collision and who have not yet given their details.
The road was closed for approximately 5 hours whilst police carried out initial investigations and recovered the vehicle. South Wales Police would like to thank the people affected by the closure for their patience and understanding.
