Police are appealing for the driver of a vehicle involved in a fatal road traffic collision in Bagillt, Flintshire in the early hours of this morning – Sunday January 30, to come forward.
North Wales Police were called to the dual carriageway just past the initial junction for Bagillt westbound on the A548 in Bagillt at 4.37 am where a female believed to be in her early thirties was found lying in the carriage way.
The woman, who was not from the North Wales area, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle failed to stop and report the collision.
A home office post mortem will take place on Monday 31 January 2011.
