North Wales Police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal road traffic collision on Anglesey yesterday evening (Tuesday, 16th of March).
Shortly before 6pm, police received a report by the Ambulance Service of a one vehicle collision on the unclassified road leading from Bodedern towards the A55.
The Ambulance and Fire and Rescue Service attended, however the driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
The road was closed whilst a detailed examination of the scene was carried out.
Police can confirm that the man who died has been named as Darren Lawrence Friend. He was 41-years-old and came from the Caergeiliog area.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the collision, and anyone with information is asked to contact PC 444 John Richards at the Western Roads Policing Unit on 101.
