The victim of a fatal road traffic collision which occurred at around 6.30am on Saturday 24th May on the A48 near St Mellons has been named at Ceri Ann Sullivan, 21, from Cyncoed in Cardiff.
Ceri’s family have paid tribute to her, saying:
“Ceri was a much loved daughter of David and Kim and loved sister and a devoted mother to her two year old daughter. She will be greatly missed by them and all of the rest of her family.
“She loved her job as a carer and was exceptionally kind hearted and generous to everyone she looked after.
“Ceri touched the lives of so many and lived her life with an enthusiasm that was truly infectious. She will be sorely missed by so many who knew and loved her.”
Ceri’s family have asked for their privacy to be respected as they come to terms with their tragic loss.
South Wales Police continues to appeal for any witnesses to the collision which occurred at about 6.30am on Saturday 24th May, 2014 the A48 between St Mellons and Marshfield, Cardiff opposite the junction to Vaendre Close and St. Mellons golf club.
The collision involved two motorcars, a Black Renault Clio travelling towards the St. Mellons area and a Blue Ford Mondeo travelling towards the Marshfield area.
South Wales Police are appealing for witnesses to the collision and the driving of both vehicles prior to the collision to contact them on 101 or the Crimestoppers number 0800 555111.
