The song ‘Feel The Rain’ is an original song written by 17 year old Welsh Singer/Songwriter Rebecca James. She was approached earlier this year by a family friend Mr Gerald McCarthy who is a keen fundraiser. His next challenge is the 6 Peaks and Kilimanjaro climb to raise funds for the charity Combat Stress.
Knowing what a talented songwriter Rebecca is he asked her if she would write a song for the charity to help raise further funds. Rebecca agreed that she would, then soon realised that a song that she had written earlier – in fact the first song she had ever written at 15 – would be a great song for the charity.
The song is perfect for the charity as it relates the feelings of the loved ones/families left behind when someone is away in this instance our soldiers away in Afghanistan, it is a very moving song.
They sent the original song to Tom Wilman of Combat Stress and he loved the song, they then approached Gold Disc Productions a record label based here in Wales and they agreed to re-record and master the song and organise the release on itunes, Amazon and other outlets.

Feel The Rain is a song that many people will be able to relate to the powerful lyrics, if you have ever loved and lost one or just missing someone who is away the song will mean something.
