Acting Chief Constable Clive Wolfendale will complete his last working day with the force today (Friday, September 11) retiring after eight years of service with North Wales Police.
Having first joined the police service as a cadet, he has enjoyed a wide ranging police career which in short saw him serve 25 years with Greater Manchester Police before joining North Wales Police initially as the Assistant Chief Constable in 2001.
Before leaving the force to take up post as the Chief Executive of drug and alcohol agency CAIS, Mr Wolfendale accepted an opportunity to look back on his period with NWP and talk about some of the highlights.
