An exciting new service has been launched by Brackla Communities First.
WOTSon in Brackla – which stands for Work Opportunity Training Support – aims to support residents with whatever help they need to get them ready for a new job or a return to employment.
Meeting in Brackla Tabernacle on Wednesday mornings from 9.30am – 11.30am, the sessions will include support from several agencies including Bridges into Work, Careers Wales and the council’s Take Up Benefits Team.
Allison Pesticcio, Brackla Communities First Area Co-ordinator, said: “WOTSon in Brackla can support people in all sorts of ways to help to make them job ready. So whether you need help with CV writing, interview techniques or other sorts of skills, please come along.
“We’re very grateful to all the agencies which are supporting this on a three-month trial basis and we’d welcome any other agency who feel they could contribute to the project.”
She added: “The beauty of having them all together in one place is that people can be immediately sign posted to another relevant agency.
“We have arranged the surgery to be very informal and are providing tea, coffee and biscuits. Children are also very welcome, so please come along and find out how we can help you.”
