An examination of the scene at 50 Gelli Road, Llanelli has been conducted by specialists from the Police, the Fire Service and also a forensic laboratory.
“It has been established that the cause of the fire was accidental,” said Detective Inspector Steve Cockwell. “A post mortem examination will be conducted on Monday 10th January 2011. The body has yet to be formally identified and police are supporting the family during this difficult time.”
Police will not be releasing the identity of the deceased until formal identification has taken place.
