Rannel Theatre Company throw down an hour of genuinely breathtaking comic theatre all executed with razor-sharp timing and some seriously cool dance moves, with their new show Flhip Flhop: Everything Happens on the Break, an hilarious cross pollination of hip hop culture and painting and decorating which is touring the UK and visits Theatr Mwldan on Wednesday 22 September at 8pm.
Joey and Matt are on a decorating job at their rich friend Dave’s bachelor pad, but Matt’s pining for his lost love, and Joey’s short attention span is getting him into hot water. Essentially this is a great excuse for the pair to display their skills via a string of skilfully conceptualised set pieces: beatboxing, a turntables face-off, furious popping and locking, breaking moves and a truly bizarre, but inspired piece of choreography involving two blokes, a stack of album covers with famous/odd faces on them and some seriously deft DJing.
Matt Bailey (DJ Baila) and Joey D individually perform regularly throughout the UK, Europe and the USA, but together, they are the mighty Flhip Flhop combining witty dialogue, dungarees, slapstick, laughter, break dance, beatbox and djing to create an energising comedy for all ages.

As an added bonus, exclusively for those who attend the Flhip Flhop show, local upcoming talent DJ Tactics will be joining us for an after show party in the foyer. DJ Tactics has recently played Teifi Roc Festival, The Venue (Haverfordwest), De Valance (Tenby), Queenshall (Narbeth), and The Angel Live (Cardigan) and he will be playing Drum & Bass, Jungle and Dubstep and of course a little bit of hip hop for you…
