Develop affordable housing schemes in areas of need
Flintshire County Council’s executive member for Housing, Councillor Helen Yale said: “The affordability of housing in Flintshire has become a real issue with a great many residents, particularly young first time buyers, in danger of being priced out of the market. It is vital therefore that if people are looking to buy a home, but are struggling to find properties at a price they can afford, they should register”.
Noela Jones Director for Housing and Communities of Cymdeithas Tai Clwyd said: “We are proud to be working in partnership with Flintshire County Council to assist in the delivery of affordable homeownership that will enable many local people to gain that first step on the housing ladder”.
