Flintshire Business Awards 2012 – AGS Security Systems remain in the headlines until 2013

The Flintshire Business Awards have become such a successful and high profile occasion on the North East Wales business calendar, that Jonathan Turner (pictured), Managing Director of AGS Security Systems, has signed the company up to be our headline sponsor for another two years.

The Mold based company will now remain in our ‘headlines’ as the Awards’ main sponsor, until October 2013.

Now in its sixth year, Flintshire County Council’s Business Awards showcase the achievements of Flintshire businesses and its profile has gone from strength to strength, which means that the accolade of winning is becoming more and more prestigious.

Jonathan Turner said:

“The Flintshire Business Awards are a great occasion, it’s hugely popular within the business community, and all the key players are keen to be associated with it.

“From a personal and professional point of view, it provides fantastic opportunities, and I’m proud that AGS is able to commit to the Awards at the highest level, by remaining a headline sponsor for three years.

“The Awards build on each previous year’s success, so I’m sure 2012 will be their best year yet.”

This year’s gala evening will take place on Friday October 19 at Soughton Hall in Northop, as part of Flintshire Business Week 2012.

The eleven Business Awards categories are open to businesses of all sizes and sectors. The Awards offer unrivalled sponsorship opportunities for maximum brand exposure throughout the nine month marketing campaign and at the glittering black tie event itself, which attracts over 200 guests from businesses across the county. The Council’s Business Development Team is already hard at work, preparing for the events in October.

Kate Catherall , Business Development Officer at the Council, said:

Flintshire County Council would like to thank Jonathan Turner, and AGS Security Systems, for continuing to support our Business awards; without the backing of companies like AGS, we would not be able to host this event.

“Between now and October, we are now going to be very busy, encouraging more people than ever to enter the 11 competition categories, and we hope to get many more sponsors on board.”
