Are you a budding entrepreneur with a business idea but don’t know how to take it to the next level?
Flintshire Enterprise Club offers help and advice on starting your own business.
With free workshops delivered by Glyndwr University, the friendly informative relaxed environment creates excellent networking potential. Group sessions are held every other Friday at John Summers’ Community Campus from 10am until 12noon.
One member has already received a prestigious business award as the club celebrated its one-year anniversary. Jordan Barnes, 18, won Young Entrepreneur of the Year at the Free2Network Business Awards 2013. Jordan, who owns two businesses, JB Sounds and Spotlight Holiday Clubs, has been a member of the club since its inception in January 2013.
Councillor Derek Butler, Cabinet Member for Economic Development said:
“The enterprise club is a great opportunity for people to get help with the development of new business ideas or support for new business start-ups. The club encourages people in business to get together and network and offers free workshops to help build and market businesses. It is important that we offer support to people who run their own businesses as they are creating jobs and helping to boost the local economy.”
