This summer Flintshire Record Office will be celebrating the Golden Jubilee of the opening of its current home at the Old Rectory in Hawarden.
Staff are very keen to hear from anyone who attended the original opening ceremony on 23 June 1962.
Principal Archivist, Claire Harrington, said:
“We would love to hear about your memories of the day and if you have any photographs or memorabilia we’d be very grateful for the opportunity to copy them for our collection.
“Similarly, if you have any photographs of other events that have taken place at the Old Rectory over the years, of former members of staff, or just of the building, we would be delighted if you’d get in touch.”
