Over 40 teachers and advisors from across Flintshire will receive Leadership awards in a presentation at County Hall.
Graduate Certificates from the University of Chester in School Leadership and Management will be awarded to teachers and advisors as part of the Council’s school improvement agenda.
The certificates will be presented by Ian Budd, Director of Lifelong Learning; Anna Sutton, Dean of Education and Children’s Services at the University of Chester and Cllr. Nigel Steele-Mortimer, the Council’s Executive Member for Education and Youth.
Cllr Steele-Mortimer said:
“I wish to congratulate everyone in attaining these qualifications. It is testament to the hard work and dedication they show to their profession, their schools and the pupils and students of Flintshire.”
Ian Budd added:
“It is right to celebrate the commitment, effort and success of all those Flintshire staff receiving these awards. They work hard to ensure that all children receive a high quality education.”
