The international award-winning brewer Evan Evans is offering the best job opportunity ever – Official Beer Taster!
This week, the company launched five new beers to kick off its celebrations of 245 years of family brewing in Wales.
The company is starting a recruiting campaign to find 30 beer tasters who will be responsible for helping shape the company’s new beer brands in 2012.
Evan Evans, which this year sees the Buckley family celebrate 245 years of family brewing has now become the leading specialist cask ale brewer in Wales.
The company, which launched its new website this week, has set out an ambitious plan to double in size in 2012 with the launching of the new Archers brands and the development of a new organic bottled beer range.
Chief executive Simon Buckley said:
‘This year, Evan Evans has had great success with its cask ale range and hopes to double its brewing volumes in 2012.
“At the end of September, we had sold more than one million pints of cask ale. We look certain to have sold another 500,000 by the end of December.
“Our beers are now available throughout the UK through our unique distribution chain.
“In 2012, we are set to expand our brewery and to install a new state-of-the-art bottling and packaging plant.
“I am now looking for 30 beer tasters from all over the UK who will have the job of tasting our new beer brands while they are in development.
“The tasters will help shape our future bottle beer range.
“They will receive free beer as a reward and will have regular sampling sessions at our brewery in Llandeilo. Samples will also be sent to their homes for independent ‘blind’ tasting.
“This has to be one of the best jobs on offer for 2012 for devoted beer drinkers.
“All they have to do is click on our new web site, www.evanevansbrewery.com and join our beer club and state that they want to be considered for a beer taster job.
“Free beer and the opportunity to help shape future brewing is something no other brewer in Wales offers. Successful applicants will be notified at the end of January.
“This week, we kick off our 245 years of brewing celebrations with five new beers. Over the next 10 days, these beers will be available throughout Wales.
