Free fun activities are being lined up at Margam Park for the half term holidays.
A new feature to be opened this week is the children’s play area in Fairytale Land.
Children will be excited to find a fireman’s tower, swings, a dish roundabout and a swing especially designed for disabled children to play on as well.
It will be open everyday over half term, then weekends until the summer season starts when it will be open every day.
Other activities for children and adults to join in over the week include orienteering, learning the traditional skill of weaving cut willow and a ‘Love Your Birds’ session with the RSPB as well as street dance, storytelling, music and classes on how to make a bird feeder and greenwood flowers.
Council Leader Ali Thomas said, “A full programme of events have been organised by Margam Park staff for half term week.
“There is plenty to do for children and adults and all the activities are free.”
