The front counter of the newly refurbished Rhyl Police Station is due to open at 9am on Monday 22nd March.
From Monday, the police station on Wellington Road will then provide a fully functioning front counter service that will be open seven days a week from 9am to 7pm.
District Inspector Dyfan Jones said: “The opening of the front counter service in Rhyl will mark the beginning of our full return to the station.” “We would like the law abiding people of the area, and those not so law abiding, to know that we are back in town and open for business.”
As result of the Rhyl opening, the front counter at Prestatyn Police Station on Victoria Road will close on Sunday 21st March at 7pm.
Insp Jones added: “I would like to reassure residents of Prestatyn that while the front counter service there is closing, their Neighbourhood Policing Team will still be stationed there.”
“I know from the ‘Balance Your Bobbies’ online survey, and from speaking to members of the public that they desperately want a more visible Police presence in North Denbighshire. With our return to the heart of the community I’m confident that we can fulfil this wish.”
