A May Day fun day is being held at the Cefn Coed Colliery Museum in Crynant near Neath.
Families are being welcomed to join in the programme of activities free of charge at the former coal mine, now operating as a museum in the Dulais Valley.
The Neath Historical Model Railway group will be on hand to share their passion for trains with children of all ages. They will delight the young people with their railway layout and will talk about modelling and the history of the Neath and Brecon railway.
The Llansawel Art Group will put on an art exhibition and there will be activity trails and a quiz which everyone can join in.
The café will be open all day for refreshments.
The Museum is open from 10am until 5pm daily until the end pf September. Last entry into the Museum is at 4.30pm.
