Tenants and members of staff at housing association Cartrefi Conwy joined the merry throng at the Conwy Fun Run.
They took part in the one-mile Fun Run, sponsored by Cartrefi Conwy, to raise money for the St David’s Hospice.
The fun run is part of the Conwy Half Marathon, organised by Run Wales.
A number of the participants were in fancy dress, including Nerys Veldhuizen, Older Persons Co-ordinator for Cartrefi Conwy, who was dressed as a banana for occasion.
She said: “The Fun Run is part of what we do to encourage our tenants to be healthy and active and as an added incentive the sheltered housing scheme that collects the most money for our local charity, St David’s Hospice, will be rewarded with a slap-up Christmas buffet lunch courtesy of Cartrefi Conwy.
“The health and well-being of our tenants is one of the themes of my role as Older Persons Co-ordinator. I’m also involved in supporting older people to identify and enhance their skills and highlight the importance of how getting involved help in shape our policies and choosing the way they would like Cartrefi Conwy to operate.”
