North Wales Police have confirmed that the body of the man found on the Great Orme is 47 year old Andrew Parvin who was reported missing on Monday night from the family home in Deganwy.
Inspector Mark Cartmell said that the police helicopter found the body at the foot of the cliffs to the north side of the Great Orme yesterday morning.
He said: “Police inquiries have confirmed the identification and the North West Wales coroner has been informed.
“A post mortem is due to take place later today.
“We are also appealing for information from anyone who might have been on the Great Orme on Sunday afternoon and either saw or spoke to Mr Parvin.
“He was described as slim build, dark hair in his late forties, wearing dark coloured puffer type walking jacket, khaki trousers and grey hiking boots.”
