Over 30 School Leaders from across Flintshire will receive their Leadership awards in a presentation on Friday, December 4 in the Council Chamber at County Hall.
These awards from the University of Chester represent a key element in Flintshire LEA’s School Improvement agenda.
Graduate Certificates in Subject Leadership will be awarded to curriculum leaders who have successfully completed the Flintshire LEA / University of Chester Programmes over an 18 month period. The report from the External Examiner of the programme states: “Education in Flintshire is secure with the calibre of leaders and managers emerging from this course suggesting a progressive future.”
The certificates will be presented by Jill Wilde, Senior Administrator for CPD at University of Chester and Councillor Nigel Steele-Mortimer, Executive Member for Education and Youth.
Councillor Steele-Mortimer said: “I wish to congratulate everyone in attaining these qualifications. It is testament
to the hard work and dedication they show to their profession, their schools and the pupils and students of Flintshire.”
