Cardiff Winter Wonderland will begin its 11th season in the capital on Thursday 17 November and helping to launch a brand new exciting ride at the festive favourite will be Welsh footballer Gareth Bale.
Executive Member for Sport, Culture and Leisure, Cllr Nigel Howells will also ride the launch flight.
The BT Infinity Star Ride is a new and thrilling addition to Cardiff Winter Wonderland. The 60m high spinning chair ride, is the only one of its kind in the UK and gives visitors spectacular panoramic views of Cardiff.

Winter Wonderland returns once again with The Admiral Open Air Ice Rink set against the magnificent backdrop of City Hall and offers more than 50 days of seasonal cheer.
The event will runs from November 17 to January 2, and tickets for Cardiff’s number one Christmas attraction are now on sale and can be purchased from Ticketline UK on 029 20 230 130.
Along with the new BT Infinity Star Ride, BT have also sponsored the new look BT Infinity Ice Café Bar providing a warm welcome and free Wi-Fi for all visitors who visit the attraction.
