A new interactive film called ‘Get In My Head’ has been launched to educate people about the effects of anti social behaviour.
’Get In My Head’ is an interactive film that was produced with the help of Bridgend County Borough Council and Year One National Diploma media production students at Bridgend College.
Want to know want to know what someone is thinking? This film puts you in the driving seat, where you follow a story that is based on the decisions you make.
You can play as either 17 year old Shaun or 65 year old Ron. Two different characters, two different points of view and depending on the character you play; you can make the choices that affect the character during key points of the story.
The storyline will show you how the misuse of alcohol around young people can lead to anti-social behaviour. It will also show how this affects the elderly as it can create feelings of mistrust and fear.
The prime objective behind this project is to get the viewer to consider his or her actions, think how it might affect other members of the community and how respect can be gained between different age generations.

This project is the result of partnership working involving Bridgend County Borough Council’s Arts and Community Development Department, Bridgend Never Too Old Action Team and Substance Misuse Action Team, Bridgend College Media Department and the Community Safety Partnership.
