Cardiff Festival favourite WOW on the Waterfront returns on July 23 and 24 to provide top entertainment for free at Roald Dahl Plass.
This year’s waterfront performance features award-winning Spanish and Argentine company Grupo Puja, who will perform an adrenaline-fuelled aerial performance called K@osmos.
The show features theatre, dance, vertiginous sports, architecture, multimedia and live music.
During the acrobatic air ballet, eight energetic performers swing, spin, bounce and fly, whilst being suspended 150 feet in the air from a giant steel ball.
Also performing at WOW on the Waterfront will be Cardiff’s very own performance group SWICA (South Wales Intercultural Community Arts).
SWICA will perform ‘Dragon’ a sensational carnival theatre presentation featuring flamboyant costumes, dance, drumming and music.
The nights entertainment will end with a firework finale.
Executive Member for Sport, Culture and Leisure, Cllr Nigel Howells, said: “The name says it all about WOW on the Waterfront, each year we aim to deliver an event that really wows and amazes the crowd.
“This year is no different and the audience can expect a breathtaking and adrenaline-fuelled performance.”
