Commenting on yesterday’s launch of Plaid Cymru’s General Election campaign, Shadow Secretary of State for Wales Cheryl Gillan said:
“A vote for Plaid Cymru is a vote for five more years of Gordon Brown. We already know that it is Plaid which has kept Labour in power in the Assembly for four more years.
“Plaid must share the blame for the desperate state of the Welsh economy, with high unemployment, high economic inactivity, a growing wealth gap, and 96,000 children living in severe poverty.
“Only the Conservatives can deliver the change Wales badly needs after 13 wasted Labour years.”
