Graham: Farming Lessons Forgotten

Responding to the appointment of the new Welsh Assembly Government cabinet; William Graham – Assembly Member for South Wales East – said “Farming Communities throughout South Wales East and Wales will be alarmed that there is no Minster for Agriculture in Carwyn’s cabinet”.

“It is as though he has forgotten the lesson he learnt during the foot & mouth crisis, the growing food production and marketing sector in Wales; together with importance of ensuring food security in future years”.

Elin Jones kept farmers informed and moved policies forward whenever possible with parties united”.

“The First Minister must restore a rural voice to the cabinet as an urgent priority”.
