Britain’s Got Talent winners Collabro have been confirmed for the line-up of this year’s Proms on the Prom event, arranged by Denbighshire County Council’s Communications, Marketing and Leisure service, in partnership with Rhyl Town Council.
Organiser, Sian Davies said: “Last year’s line up, which featured Richard and Adam, Amore, and Graffiti Classic was incredible but this year we’ve gone to another level.
“With big names like Rhys Meirion, Piantel, Sioned Terry and Graffiti Classic already confirmed, today’s exciting announcement which includes a headline spot for Collabro and Richard and Adam makes it one of the best festival line-ups of the year.
Collabro were recently crowned the winners of this year’s Britain’s Got Talent show. The classical singing group impressed the judges and the voting public with their performance of Stars from Les Miserables.
The group of five, all in their early 20’s, formed only a month before their first audition on the show received outstanding comments from all four judges along with a standing ovation from the audience.
Brothers Richard and Adam from Holywell, who came third in last year’s ITV talent show, have recently completed a sell-out tour of the UK and are about to release their third album At the Movies. Their first album spent four week at No.1
The FREE event takes place at the Rhyl Events Arena, on Sunday 24th August between midday and 4pm.
