A group of Gower College Swansea lecturers and students are growing their facial hair to raise money for ‘Movember,’ an annual celebration of the moustache that also highlights men’s health issues.
“We had great fun taking part in Movember last year and it proved a real talking point across the college,” says lecturer Julian Fuge. “We are now looking forward to seeing even more funky facial hair in 2010! It gives everyone a good laugh but also raises awareness of the serious issues behind the charity.”
Since 2003, Movember has raised millions globally for the fight against prostate cancer and depression in men.
