Gwyl Gobaith Music Festival is bringing internationally famous Welsh acts to Flintshire. Rhydian Roberts, of X Factor fame, Three Welsh Tenors and Only Men Aloud will be headlining the three day festival this year which will be held at Northop College Campus – Deeside College and Glyndwr University on the 26, 27 and 28 of August.
Gwyl Gobaith Music Festival is also pleased to announce that our main sponsor this year will be Wales’s largest employer, Airbus in the UK, based in Broughton, Flintshire. Airbus has nominated CLIC Sargent, the UK’s leading cancer charity for children and young people, as their charity and money raised on the Sunday evening finale concert will be donated to the cause. The closing night will be headlined by Only Men Aloud and promises to be a musical extravaganza not to be missed. The festival will close with an amazing firework display.
Airbus is joined by two premier sponsors, Gardners Accountants, North Wales’s leading business accountants, based in Holywell, and leading renewable energy developer, Windpower Wales.
Gardners Accountants have asked that all funds raised during the Saturday classical concert be donated to Glan Clwyd Hospital Cancer Unit. The Saturday evening concert will be a stunning event showcasing the very best classical tenors that Wales have to offer including Rhys Meirion whose vision for Gwyl Gobaith Music Festival has seen the event go from strength to strength. Rhys will be joined by Aled Hall and Alun Rhys-Jenkins as the Three Welsh Tenors.
The opening night, sponsored by Windpower Wales, will be a party celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Wales Air Ambulance. On this celebratory evening with the stars, Rhydian Roberts will perform along with many other famous musicians to be announced very soon.
