If you are looking for something different to do in the summer holidays, why not come along to the Winding House for some fun ‘Hands-on History’?
A series of exciting archaeology activities for all ages will take place at New Tredegar’s The Winding House between Tuesday 27th and Friday 30th July as part of the Festival of British Archaeology.
The sessions are FREE, will run between 10am and 5pm and are a fantastic opportunity to discover the past, learn new skills and explore how our ancestors lived.
With mystery objects, fabulous finds, pot making, and not forgetting the historic winding engine – there’s lots to see and do. There’s no need to book – just drop in and join the fun!
Also, the winding engine will run on Friday 30th July between 12pm and 3pm.
