Have your say and win a laptop

Young people aged 11-25, in the Caerphilly county borough are being encouraged to have their say about youth services in the area – and be in with the chance of winning a new laptop.

Caerphilly county borough council’s Youth Service has launched its new website. The new Youth4U website provides a wealth of information and advice about youth services across the area as well as activities available for young people to get involved in.

The council is keen to ensure that young people are given a chance to have their say about the services on offer, so the website includes a special survey asking users for feedback and ideas about youth provision. As an added incentive, everyone who takes part will be in with the chance of winning a new NetBook so they can surf the web on the go!

“We believe that young people play a key role in helping us shape local youth services, but we are concerned that some are not having their voices heard as much as they should be,” said Cllr Phil Bevan, CCBC cabinet member for education, “Its your right to be heard and its your right to have a voice on how youth services are run, so please work with us and tell us how we can improve things in the future.”
