Think global, act local is a well established mantra of the green movement and Neath Port Talbot Council are asking the public what they think about plans to make their community cleaner, greener and healthier.
The plans, prepared with Neath Port Talbot Environmental Forum, cover the natural environment, the built environment, how our lifestyles affect the environment and what we can do to reduce our impact on the environment.
Targets have also been set to make Neath Port Talbot a greener place to live.
“Working together is the key to success,” says Council Leader Ali Thomas.
“Now it is time to look at how we, together with our partners, are going to do this and we are asking for everybody’s help and comments to move this forward and realise our ambitions.
“We need to address climate change issues and even small changes in things we do on a daily basis can bring about a big difference in the county borough.”
