People in the Chepstow area can have their say on plans to improve the safety of routes to school in their neighbourhood.
A public exhibition on road safety takes place in Chepstow Library this week and Monmouthshire County Council highways staff will be available to field questions.
The exhibition runs until lunchtime on Saturday April 17th and will feature the proposed Safe Routes in the Community Scheme which aims to provide new pedestrian crossings, footway improvements, improved school pedestrian access and better traffic signs in the town.
The scheme was largely based on findings raised by local schools with a considerable input from members of the public. Those attending the exhibition will have the opportunity to complete a questionnaire and comment on the proposals.
