Denbighshire County Council is asking people in the St Asaph area to have their say on local issues.
In 2011/12 Denbighshire County Council developed a City Plan for St Asaph which identified community needs and priorities for the town. It did not however address the needs and priorities of the smaller rural communities associated with St Asaph. The Council has now agreed to expand the Plan to cover these more rural communities.
Community Councils have been consulted to hear what they considered to be the key issues or priorities for the rural areas associated with St Asaph.
The report summarises those discussions and forms the basis of further consultation for all residents and businesses in Rhuallt, Cefn Meiriadog, Tremeirchion, Cwm, Waen and Trefnant.
Issues highlighted in the report include local facilities, youth provision, public transport, the condition of roads and road safety.
The Council is asking people whether the issues identified are the right ones or whether there are others that need consideration.
Any responses to the consultation can be sent by email to:
[email protected] or by post to:- Regeneration, Denbighshire County Council, Caledfryn, Smithfield Road, Denbigh, LL16 3RG. Some hard copies of the report are also available at St Asaph Library.
Alternatively, people can respond via www.denbighshire.gov.uk/consultations
The deadline for comment is 18 October 2013
